Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center Technical Help Desk Specialist in Walsenburg, Colorado
This is a full-time hourly position.
SPRHC (Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center) has provided healthcare and education resources to our health systems for two decades.
SPRHC is the rural leader in hospital management, with clients across multiple counties. As a health resource, SPRHC offers a Patient centered Medical home within a Family Clinic, Outreach and Women's Clinic, Specialty Clinic, Surgical Team, Critical Access Hospital, Swing Beds, Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy, Laboratory, Imaging Department and Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center.
Help Desk Specialist provides on-site support for computer software/hardware installation and maintenance. Able to perform the following with little to no assistance: physical network troubleshooting to include testing network cables, wall ports, access points and tracing to switches/patch panels, printer/scanner basic troubleshooting, Windows hardware diagnostics, Windows, Chromebook, tablet and cell phone basic troubleshooting and network connectivity, VOIP handset basic setup/network troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors on onsite visits/software or hardware deployments.
Minimum Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma with a minimum of three years previous work experience in a call center or help desk work environment. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Additional coursework/training in electromechanical, software or other technical field is preferred.
