Job SummaryThis position is located in Platteville, CO as a member of the HSE team.QualificationsMinimum of eight (8) years of Health and Safety experience preferred;preferably in support of onshore oil & gas well drilling and completionsactivity. Must have a working knowledge of OSHA requirements and industryrecommended practices (API, IADC, etc.) and their application to thedesign, construction and operation of drilling and completion equipment.Must have experience with HSE contractor management.Effective interpersonal skills dealing with personnel at various levels and ina variety of functions.Proficient technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectivelypresent complex topics in a concise manner and training experience.ResponsibilitiesPosition will be responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental activitiesassociated with drilling and completions operations in Platteville, CO andis expected to work within the field locations at least 50% of the time.Manage applicable contract HSE consultants.Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to provide HSE support.Provide support to Hazard Analysis processes to ensure hazards are identifiedand verify that appropriate prevention and/or mitigation measures areimplemented.Lead or facilitate incident investigations and root cause analysis.Conduct periodic site assessments and hazard assessments and communicatefindings to leadership.Coordinate with HSE Manager and HSE team to ensure effective use of bestpractices and consistency in approach to HSE responsibilities.Promote a risk-based approach to HSE management utilizing Company policies,standards and processes for all operational activities.Plan and participate in HSE audits/reviews of drilling and completionoperations and related assigned areas to ensure proper implementation andcompliance.Support the implementation and achievement of HSE objectives and performancemeasures during all drilling and completion activities.Lead initiatives to promote visible and proactive management commitment andemployee engagement in HSE activities.Ensure compliance with tracking and reporting HSE performance data (e.g.incident report findings, audit actions, and related HSE metrics).Participate and audit job-planning activities, Job Safety Assessment(JSA) and hazard recognition.Attend drilling and completion operational meetings and reviews.Ensure proper emergency response proficiencies are evident in drilling andcompletion operations.Practice Anadarkos Core Values (Integrity and Trust, Servant Leadership,People and Passion, Commercial Focus).EducationBachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or other related field preferred.High School Diploma or GED required. Four (4) or more years of relevantexperience with Bachelors degree. Ten (10) or more years of relevantexperience without Bachelors degree.LicensesValid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving acompany vehicle.RelocationThis position may be eligible for domestic relocation.Travel RequirementsOnly local travel is required for this position.
