This position will besplit between our Highlands Ranch and Parker Therapy.Job OverviewThe Speech Language Pathologist I provides diagnostic evaluations andintervention programs for children with speech, language, learning,feeding/swallowing or hearing disorders in all settings in which servicesare offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreachand telehealth programs.Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist tojoin our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program.MUST have at least an intermediate level of signing experience (knowledge ofASL and its structure, ability to use simultaneous communication withrelative ease) as well as some experience providing aural(re)habilitation for children with hearing aids and cochlear implants.ResponsibilitiesPopulation Specific CareNeonate -Infancy - >30 days to 1 yrToddlers - >1 yr to 3yrsPre-Schoolers - >3yrs to 5yrsSchool age - >5yrs to 13yrsAdolescent - >13yrs to 18yrsAdult - >18yrs to 65yrsEssential FunctionsAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of thefollowing essential functions.
