Clinical Rotations Coordinator.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Manage clinical clerkship rotations for third and/or fourth year medical students in Colorado.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Schedule clinical clerkship rotations for third and/or fourth year students.
Maintain accurate clinical information database for clinical rotations sites, adjunct clinical faculty, and student assignments in designated areas.
Communicate with preceptors and students in the coordination of clinical clerkship rotations.
Efficiently resolve schedule conflicts as the arise.
Communicate and direct appropriate student concerns to the Assistant/Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs.
Ensure all required student documents are completed in a timely manner.
Manage the evaluation process of students, clinical faculty and clinical sites.
Maintain an ongoing database of all above evaluations.
Recruit preceptors and perform site visits.
Provide any assistance and support to the Office of Clinical Affairs.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Assistant or Associate Dean or his/her designees.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist Administration, faculty and staff in special projects as required.
Participate in community and professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and university as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Professional communication skills (email, telephone, etc).
Demonstrate data skills with Windows Microsoft, Excel, Adobe and Outlook.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to work with confidential material with attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems efficiently.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-years equivalent work in scheduling or database management.
Post graduate degree
Work experience in a Medical School or Residency Program.
Work experience in scheduling in a healthcare-related facility.
Final applicant will be required to pass background check and drug screening.
