Nuclear Care Partners Registered Nurse (RN) - Resource Nurse for CO in Montrose, Colorado

We are looking for Nurses(RN) who are interested in acting as a Resource Nurse for Colorado. The Resource Nurse would provide care for our exceptional patients in the Montrose/Delta area; Grand Junction area; as well as the West End(Norwood, Nucla, Naturita) . This position provides direct 1x1 care in the privacy and safety of our patients home with extensive safety precautions during this pandemic.

NCP serves Atomic Heroes all across the state of Colorado from the Front Range, to the Western Slope and into the West End (Norwood, Nucla, Naturita). Due to the geographical distance between patients, we are seeking nurses who are interested in joining our resource pool and traveling to the different parts of the Western Slope and West End. Nurses interested will need to be able to travel 3-4 days minimum and up to 2 to 3 weeks for certain cases. There will be day and night shifts available and nurses will earn incentive pay when providing patient care on assignment. Nurses on the Resource Pool Team must be dependable and committed to travel assignments they sign up for.

Salary range:

  • $30/hr. to $37/hr + Incentive Pay when on assignment which also Includes a Travel Bonus (Half Day $50 Bonus / Full Day $100 Bonus).

  • When Traveling it is required you work 36 hours a week.

Our ideal candidate will not only be skilled in assessing patients and providing care but will also use critical thinking and good judgment while functioning independently in a home setting with minimal supervision according to NCP policy and DOL requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to symptom management, medication management, education on disease process and safety, documentation and maintaining records of care, communication with physicians, skilled intervention depending on diagnosis and nurturing a positive relationship and communication with patients, families and their care team.

  • Current state licensure as a registered nurse required in CO.

  • Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.

  • Registered Nurse with home health experience is preferred but not required.

  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured, in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, and in good working order.

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
