Description: A Manufacturing Engineer II job in Louisville, CO is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible reviewing engineering designs for producibility and the development of tooling and fixtures, work instructions, production process and procedures. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's of Science degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience.
Manufacturing Engineer II Job duties:
Consultation with program management, design engineers, quality, and production teams in order to develop the most efficient and cost effective means of producing our products at the highest level of quality possible
Reviewing engineering designs for productivity and the development of tooling and fixtures, work instructions, production process and procedures
Involved in the application of manufacturing technologies and industry best practices during the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle
Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
Knowledge industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing and production processes
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
Experience with new product introduction and transition to production
