Consider joining our team andunlock your potential.JOB TITLE: Senior ScientistJOB SUMMARYWorking under minimum direction, the position lead will act as scientificsubject matter expert who will liaison between science, clinical,engineering, manufacturing, marketing and regulatory teams to supportbusiness strategies and goals. Responsible for overseeing scientific studiesaccording to GLP and international regulatory requirements. Applies thoroughknowledge to applicable product conception, development, testing,verification, validation, regulatory approval, and marketing use. ESSENTIAL DUTIESProvides scientific support across departments in multiple business areaswhich supports the development of products. Works closely with seniormanagement team and KOL's to define scientific strategies that supportbusiness areas objectives.Partners with all business area project leads to successfully implementprojects or evaluate scientific or engineering related aspects. Determinesresource requirements to support studies and resolves and/or escalatesproject-related issues in a timely fashion.Authors and supports preparation of publications (abstracts, posters,manuscripts, marketing material). Includes clinical evaluation reports.Understands customer issues and works to resolve problems with product,procedures, and policies that drive change where necessary to resolve theseissues.Manages and provides scientific leadership for the functional group'sdevelopment, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizationalpolicies and processes and supporting overall business and corporateobjectivesComprehends short-term and long-term business goals.Interfaces with industry representatives, customers and regulatory agencieson product development.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation Doctorate degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.ExperienceDoctorate with 3+ years of experienceMaster's with minimum 8 years of experience.Experience in cell and gene therapy technologies is preferred.Experience and/or education in immunology is highly preferred.SkillsKnowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use themeffectively.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Demonstrate effective leadership, management, cross-functional teamskills, self-direction, and ability to work independently.Serves as content expert on therapy and clinical applications. Maintainsstate-of-the-art knowledge by attending relevant meetings and visiting keyopinion leaders and investigators.Subject Matter Expert (SME) of scientific studies.Understands biostatistics and experimental design.Must have a positive and proactive approach to identification and definitionof problems, leading to proactive development and implementation of solutions.
