STAFF PHARMACIST

As a Staff Pharmacist, you are the face of Pharmaca’s mission and our commitment to the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense prescriptions

• Oversee patient safety and adhere to pharmacy professional practice

• Administer patient immunizations

• Facilitate inventory management

• Communicate directly with patients, insurance and doctors

• Provide unparalleled levels of customer service

• Promote Pharmaca Pharmacy services

• Actively engage with retail practitioners to provide well rounded care for patients

Requirements:

• Bachelor or advanced degree in pharmacy

• Current and clear pharmacist license

• Active immunization and CPR certifications

• Training and/or certification for Oral Contraceptive Prescribing based on state requirement

• Minimum 2 years experience in community pharmacy

• Demonstrated ability to work independently without a tech during volumes of less than 65 scripts/day

• Ability to pick up Pharmacy Dispensing Software skills quickly and proficiently

• Experience with resolving Third Party Rejections

• Aptitude for multi-tasking and triaging work load

• Flexibility in work hours (including weekends/holidays/evenings)
