Weld County Government Public Health Business/Clinic Manager in Greeley, Colorado

The ideal candidate for the Public Health Business/Clinic Manager positionwill have the following: Previous success managing a high performing clinic with a minimum of 5years in management in a clinic setting with at least 3 years ofsupervisory-level experience. A people-focused approach with a proven record of strong internal andexternal customer service. A history of championing positive culture while driving innovative changeand process improvement. Experience working with insurance companies, billing, budgeting,clinic scheduling, and managing information systems. Ability to optimize patient outcomes and integrate clinic operations whileensuring alignment with the strategic priorities and adopted budget Ability to create and give meaningful and engaging presentations andreports that convey accurate and relevant data and provide complex analysis toaid decision making.Ensure staffing is appropriate for day-to-day operations.Establish and maintain clinical standards of care for clinic nursing team.Manage and oversee the delivery of exceptional and compassionate care to allpatients within the areas of responsibility.Analyze, organize and manage clinical and non-clinical operations ofassigned areas.Overall accountability and oversight of assigned clinic(s), services andprograms including financial and operational performance, provider practiceefficiency; timely and accurate documentation, service excellence,budget development and management; staffing, talent/performancemanagement. Engage appropriate stakeholders in the review and dissemination ofarea financial and productivity performance.Provide first line response to physician/provider and assigned support staffissues (behavioral and clinical). Responsible for problem resolution incollaboration with clinic administration.Support/influence strategic initiatives, grant initiatives and publichealth directives. Provides solutions and strategic direction for addressingthe operational issues.Involved with planning and grants, as well as implementation of new servicelines and collaborations.Lead process improvement initiatives. Analyze situations, identifyproblems, evaluate alternative courses of action and implement improvementplans through utilization of Quality Improvement (QI) and ProcessImprovement (PI) principles.Lead clinic in implementation of Strategic Plan and annually plans goals andobjectives.Participate in Quality Assurance activities, data analysis and review tomake improvements within the clinic.Ensure that legal and regulatory standards, as well as clinic and/orprogram and department policies and procedures are implemented, appliedconsistently and monitored.Work with staff to aid in the development of business strategies that provideopportunities that: 1) enhance, expand, and continuously improvehealth care delivery, and 2) increase revenues and/or contains costs.Direct the development and installation of procedures and controls, topromote communication and adequate information flow, and thereby solidifymanagement control and direction,Develop and establish internal operating policies consistent with the WeldCounty Code and Board of County Commissioners broad policies and objectives.Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with local, State andFederal regulations and policies and procedures governing the County andHealth Department business practices.Work with internal and external resources to research and to benchmarkprograms and functions/business units, to understand what otherorganizations are pursuing in order to offer a perspective to strategicplanning sessions. Assess and report on current performance, consumer,market and environmental trends to generate insights to drive the strategicand innovation agenda.Develop and maintain a sound plan of organization.
