Community Hospital Physician Medical Education Coordinator, Part-Time in Grand Junction, Colorado

The Job: Coordinates all functions of the accredited CME program for Community Hospital. Maintain a quality accredited Medical Education program, following the accreditation guidelines of the Colorado Medical Society, the A.O.A., and industry standards.

Work Schedule: Part-Time

Location: Community Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Research standards, best practices and market analysis to facilitate program compliance.

  • Maintain accreditation for both American Osteopathic Association and Colorado Medical Society, including submitting reports, writing applications for accreditation and re-accreditation, conduct site surveys with surveyors.

  • Coordinate and conduct all CME committee meetings; develop the CME committee by providing education to its members, utilizing practices from accrediting bodies and government agencies that impact CME.

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate the CME activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)

  • Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of direct and on-going coordination of functions of an accredited CME program.

This position's pay range is: $15.42 ? 21.59 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
