Ihe role of Wort and Beer Specialist will be working at our Coors Brewing Facility in Golden Colorado . This role is responsible for daily operation and coordination of tank cleaning in compliance with corporate and GMP standards, beer receipt and delivery to meet fermenter drop, beer blending and packaging schedules, routine cleaning and sterilization of process and product streams. The team completes daily micro and sensory sampling, MCMS batch completion and material preparation.
The Specialist works in varying hot, cold and wet environments, performs regular heavy lifting, pushing with the lower body, a great deal of walking, and use of stairs and manlifts. The Specialist may work in a confined space that may contain CO2. They must adhere to all established safety practices required for the entrant and attendant.
This position will be on the Maturation team and will report to our Sr. Process Leader.
Performs work tasks in accordance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMP, Lock out/Tag Out/Try Out, safety rules, codes, policies, and regulations and Confined Space Entry policies.
Works with and along side a FTE in a team environment, and must be able to make responsible decisions regarding the task with minimum supervision.
Must be familiar with World Class Manufacturing and its philosophies.
Must participate in all Safety and Enviromental Mangement Practices
The Minimum Qualifications:
Required education: High School diploma or GED
Demonstrated understanding of flow dynamics, volume control in a closed system or experience in a food/beverage plant or other production environment.
Must have an excellent safety record and be able to regularly lift over 50 lbs.
Must be able to use Microsoft office applications and have capability to learn several different computer applications, SAP, PLC, Delta V, MCMS.
Ability to troubleshoot production upsets and issues and escalate as necessary.
Able to work in a team environment.
