Just last year, HCA Healthcare and our colleagues donated$13.8 million dollars to charitable organizations.As an Insurance Verifier, you will contribute to the company's mission,vision, and values by verifying benefits and collecting patient informationfor scheduled surgery center patients. Under the supervision of the CBODirector or Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for paymentcollection and reimbursement.What you will do in this role:You will obtain insurance pre-certification, verification, and interviewpatients prior to surgeryYou will verify patient eligibility, authorizations, benefits, and claiminformation with insurance companies and 3rd party payersYou are responsible for identifying patient accounts based on PPO, HMO, orother Managed Care OrganizationsYou will contact patients and provide updates on benefit verificationinformation and financial responsibilityYou will update the patient communication module, AdvantX, withappropriate authorization and benefit informationYou are responsible for creating financial arrangements, alongsidemanagement, when a patient is unable to complete paymentWe are part of HCA Healthcare, who has been named one of the world's mostethical companies by Ethisphere since 2010.We are conveniently located near I-25 and Belleview in DTC making your commuteeasy.Be a part of an organization that invests in you.
