TitleRegional Health and Safety ManagerDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Develop and manage the components of a strong SafetyProgram for RoadSafe's operations on a Regional scale. Support the DistrictVice President and Branch Managers in communicating with employees to build astrong safety culture. Work with the Branch Managers and the local SafetyCoordinators to reduce significantly injuries (both to our workers andothers) and property damage. Build and implement comprehensive Health andSafety related plans to reduce injuries and accidents.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety program covering training,compliance, awareness, administration and reporting.2. Administer claims.3. Travel to branches to insure compliance. 4. Conduct facility and job sightaudits5. Work closely with insurance carriers and brokers to identifyopportunities, design and implement solutions for improved safety results.6. Review and assist branches with OSHA 300 logs. 7. Assure all personnel aretrained and communicated with regarding safety specific process changesOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Coordinate activities of Safety Coordinators in all branches.2. Manage Driver Alert Programs.3. Oversee USDOT compliance program and manage the Compliance Officer.Position RequirementsREQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Minimum of 10 years EHS/safety experience preferably in heavy highwayconstruction 2.Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, USDOT compliance and TrafficControl' 3CSP, CSHO and ATSSA certifications 4. Strong written and verbal communications skills. 5. Computer skills in Excel and Wordrequired. 6. Proven skills inareas of claims reduction and insurance policy administration. 7.
