Additional information about the hospital is available POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the laboratory manager, performs EEGs in thelaboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive careunits. Performs Ambulatory EEG recordings and electrocerebral silencetracings. Performs intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring (INDM) of patientsin the epilepsy center. Performs evoked potential recordings. Assistsphysicians in EMG, NCV and TCD studies. Shares an on-call rotation withother staff for emergency studies. EQUIPMENT LISTING: 1. Electroencephalograph 2. Impedance meter 3. QUALIFICATIONS POSITION REQUIREMENTS A. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Must be ABRET EEG registered. Knowledge/experience in neurophysiologictesting including evoked potentials. B. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology programaccredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation orequivalent formal training.
