Weare an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking aphenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.We want you to apply now!Position Summary:As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for theactivities related to decontamination, assembly, packaging, andsterilization of instruments. Unlock your potential here!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Sterile Processing Technicianwith us:* You will perform work processes of the department includingdecontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution ofinstruments, trays and supplies to the Operating Room and other Patient CareDepartments in the hospital.* You will be responsible for the decontamination of soiledinstruments, utensils and equipment and the assembly and preparation ofinstruments and equipment needed for daily surgical procedures.* You will provide asset management and support of surgicalinstruments and trays belonging to or consigned to the facility, inaccordance with The Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI andAORN standards.* You will assist to develop and establish workflow, processimprovements, daily work assignments, log documentation and management.* You will report broken instrumentation and provide vitalcommunication with team leadership and/or manager.Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA's HealthONE, is located in the southmetro Denver area where it has been a proud member of the community for morethan 110 years.
