WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE: * You will interrogate, interpret, and re-program cardiac deviceswith minimal physician supervision * You will troubleshoot critical device issues and take immediate stepstoward resolution * You will collaborate with physicians regarding device status andaccurately document device analysis in EMR for review * You will ensure charges are accurately captured for deviceinterrogation * You will schedule patients for device appointment follow up in EMR andremote website including immediate/urgent contact with \\"noshow\\" patients to ensure they are rescheduled * You will ensure programming rooms are adequately stocked with necessarysupplies QUALIFICATIONS WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED: * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relatable science program ishighly preferred * Minimum of 5 years experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiacpacemaker and AICD's (Biotronik, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, andSt. Jude) OR a current and unrevoked Cardiac Device Technology Certificationfrom a recognized device training school * Experience reviewing and managing remote device transmissions(Carelink, Latitude, and Merlin) is required * Position may require some travel to regional offices for assigneddevice clinics HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune's list of Most Admired Companies forthree consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the Fortune 500 list.
