We are currently seeking a Sterile Processing Tech I to join our family.As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for theactivities related to decontamination, assembly, packaging, andsterilization of instruments. Here is some of what you can expect from being a Sterile ProcessingTechnician I with us: You will coordinate and collaborate in the overall cleaning,disinfection, assembly and sterile processing of instruments needed fordaily surgical and invasive procedures. You will be knowledgeable regarding instrumentation handling,care, cleaning, assembly and sterilization. You will operate the washer decontaminator, Ultrasonic washer,heat sealer, nitrogen tank and air hose. You will accurately follow surgery and hospital instrument checksheets and order requests You will promptly and correctly respond to Hospital departments andthe operating room requests for instrumentation and supplies Reporting of broken instrumentation, and vital communication withteam leadership and/or manager. What qualifications you will need: HS Diploma or GED. Surgical or Central Sterile Technical training course preferred. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred. One year minimum Sterile Processing, Central Sterile Technician orOperating Room Technician experience preferred.
