Join us in our efforts to better our community! * * Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse Clinical Professional Development Education for HealthONE Division, you will enhance division-wide professional practice and the provision of quality patient care providing evidence-based quality educational programs and activities within a specialty. As a Division Clinical Professional Development Educator, you will use deep subject matter expertise to develop programs and activities that promote professional competency for nursing, inter-professional and non-licensed clinical staff in the specialty setting.
What you will do in this role: * You will participate in the development, coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting and evaluating for onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel within the specialty. * You will lead the development, facilitating and evaluating the competencies within the specialty. * You will design and identify educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences. * You will promote and integrate the Evidence-based Practice (EBP) in order to continuously improve practice. * You will collaborate with inter-professional teams to review outcomes data to evaluate and refine educational activities. * You will identify and develop strategies to facilitate a continuous process of maturation through lifelong learning. * You will monitor the practices or operations with reference to laws, regulations, guidelines or industry practices.
Requirements: * Currently licensed as a registered nurse or health professional in the in the state(s) of practice and/ or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation - required. * Basic Life Support certificationthrough the American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required. * Specialty certifications as recognized by the American Nurse Credentialing Center – required. * NPD Practitioner Certification – preferred. * Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – required. * Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or other clinical field – preferred. * Three (3) or more years of experience in nursing specialty in an acute care setting – required. * Three (3) or more years of experience in clinical education – required. * ALTERNATIVELY, equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
