Rehabilitation Tech- Inpatient (Job ID: 3720)Job SummaryUnder close supervision, assists the therapist by performing tasks under thedirections and supervision of the primary therapist (Physical Therapist,Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, CertifiedOccupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist).Provides patient supervision during therapeutic activities. Cleans andprepares treatment areas. Assists in the efficient, safe and high-qualityoperation of Rehabilitation Services.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation 1. Associates Degree, required. Experience 1. Experience inhealth care field preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Knowledgeof Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy practices. 2.Knowledge of patient safety practices. 3. Ability to execute and monitorassigned patient care activities. Skill in setting up and operatingtherapeutic modalities and equipment. 4. Ability to receive supervision anddirection from supervisory staff. 5. Ability to work collaboratively with thehealth care team. 6. Ability to provide high quality customer service. 7.Ability to communicate courteously and effectively. 8. Conducts all patientcare activities with respect for the patient privacy and rights. 9.Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and incorporates into service delivery andcommunication practices.
