Join us in our efforts to better our community!Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range ofservices to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medicalconditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our RadiologyTechnologist (Rad Tech) include: * You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designatedportions of the body. * Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x-raytherapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses theirconcerns. * Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patientsin our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well. * You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocolsfor patients ages neonate through geriatric. * Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical andpatient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.Required Job Qualifications include: * Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training programwith current certification by ARRT. * Must maintain current registry by attending continuing educationactivities to maintain knowledge and skill level. * BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Crossrequired. * Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. * Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending,reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/orequipment up to 50 lbs. * Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
