We'll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value ofspirituality in healing.We're proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.Your day.As an ED Rad Tech, you need to know how to:Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist thephysicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meetingthe needs of individual patients throughout the facility.Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but notlimited to: X-Ray, CT, C-Arm, CR reader, and PACS.Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies,procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty isnotified of the results.Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physicianand/or nurse on duty.Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records inpaper and electronic formats (EPIC).Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance withestablished policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations.Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform qualitytesting.Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance andfunction checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment.Perform quality control as established by this laboratory.Perform proficiency testing and/or split sample analysis periodically asestablished by this facility.Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of twoyears.Perform all quality assessment activities assigned to this position anddocument these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisorand/or the Laboratory Director.Perform duties as an Emergency Department Technician as needed.Your experience.We hire people, not resumes.
