We want your knowledge and expertise!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Radiation Therapist with us:You will perform and deliver a physician-prescribed radiation therapytreatment to patientsYou will calculate proper machine settingsYou will assist the physicians with patient careYou will assist with the preparation and process of special procedures such asIMRT, simulations, field modifications of devicesYou will provide patient care information and evaluate patient's physicaland psychological statusYou will know and utilize radiation safety techniquesQualifications you will need for this role:Required Education: Associate DegreePreferred Education: Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience: Graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy programand certified by the ARRT in Radiation within 6 months of employment.Preferred Experience: 3 years or moreARRT certification in radiation therapyCurrent BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American RedCross.State licensure (if applicable)Rose Medical Center, a well-known as a Denver institution and a 9th Avenuelandmark for 60 years, Rose Medical Center has earned a reputation asDenver's "Baby Hospital" while becoming a leader in comprehensivewomen's services, internal medicine, endoscopy, heart and vascularcare, orthopedics and total joint replacement, bariatric surgery, sportsmedicine and aesthetic surgery.
