Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensiveprovider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PETTechnologist to join our network. This is a PRN position but offers theopportunity to get your foot in the door with a great organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, performs PET imaging procedures andrelated functions. Collaborates with Medical Director and management ontechnical issues, equipment performance and QA. Supports and adheres to theUS Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and BusinessStanPerforms PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical,setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordinationof image on report function and archiving of images.Assists in procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensuresmooth workflow.Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution andpatient files.Assists with collection of clinical data for patient follow-up and developmentof teaching and educational information. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology froman AMA accredited program. Minimum three to five years experience in nuclearmedicine and/or previous PET experience. CNMT (Certified Nuclear MedicineTechnologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure whereapplicabl All candidates are required to pass a drug screening and background check.
