What you will do in this role:* You will be supporting the mission of Rose Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. * You will be providing coordination of non-nursing unit functions, maintaining unit relationships with non-clinical services to facilitate efficient interdepartmental and unit functioning. * When need arises, you will perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. * You will be orienting families to the environment. * You will assist with the admission process and order entry. * You will maintain unit equipment and supplies, and participates in checking of equipment per appropriate guidelines.
What qualifications you will need for this position:* BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross * Graduate of Unit Secretary or medical terminology course preferred. * Hospital experience preferred. * Unit Secretary experience preferred. * Experience with computers and medical terminology required.
