Supervises clinical services teammateswithin assigned division including the hiring, promotion, discipline,professional development, and discharge of teammates with approval from theDVP and People Services Manager as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties andresponsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but arenot intended to be all inclusive.Drive positive DQI trends within the division * Participate in divisional CQIactivities * Monitor and report on AOR investigation process within thedivision * Monitor implementation and report on company initiatives * Identifyissues that require the establishment of clinical Policies and Procedures orrecommend modification to existing policies and procedures * Data collationand reporting as requested Education * Ensure that all new clinical teammatescomplete the appropriate DaVita Prep training program * Ensure the timelycompletion of clinical training * Identify specific training needs within thedivision and implement action plans * Direct the implementation of trainingmaterials/revisions from the national education team * Identify andcommunicate professional development needs and ensure a continuing educationprogram is in place * Direct and provide on-going education support at theclinic level Compliance/Regulatory * Ensure adherence to the DaVitacompliance program * Ensure that DaVita's training programs meet or exceedfederal and/or state requirements * Ensure that proper documentation issubmitted when required to the appropriate regulatory agencies * Provideoversight of the audit process(s) to ensure regulatory compliance andconsistency in approach * Assist in developing action plans and strategies foraddressing deficiencies in partnership with operations management * Ensuredivision's compliance with all laws, regulations and practice guidelinesthat impact nursing practice Management and Leadership * Ensure RightPerson/Right Attitude/Right Job (RPRARJ) within Clinical ServicesSpecialist and Clinical Trainer positions * Provide coaching and leadershipincluding effective performance feedback to Clinical Services Specialists andClinical Trainers * Ensure the team is providing support for and developmentof the clinical preceptors * Participate as a member of the DivisionsOperations Management Team in development of strategic direction for divisionand ensure the development of outcome programs to support the direction *Participate in the divisional operations review process and provide reportswith analysis as requested * Allocate resources according to divisionalpriorities * Develop a collaborative and unified teamMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, licenses, certifications, andexperience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skillsas required): *Bachelors Degree in Nursing required (and licensure in state of residence) * 10 years Dialysis experience required * 3 years in a lea
