Office of Grants and Contracts has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Closeout Specialist position.

Salary and Benefits:
Hiring salary has been established as $52,000.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation

A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
Two (2) year of progressively responsible professional experience in Grants & Contracts-related work.
- A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis
Experience with financial reports
Experience working in higher education
Experience interpreting financial data
Experience with sponsored research accounts
Competencies / Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word and Outlook.
Ability to work in a high volume office with deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills including the ability to apply basic math and accounting skills.
