DaVita Administrative Assistant 3 in Denver, Colorado


Responsible for providing administrative support to the DaVita Medical Group Legal Team in the form of organizing and prioritizing work, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.


  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Medical Group (DMG) commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.

  • Supports members of the Legal team remotely and onsite.

  • Maintains electronic schedules including coordination of internal and external meetings.

  • Organizes and distributes correspondence, reports, etc.

  • Uploading of documents into the system, data entry and report generation.

  • Develops and maintains filing systems.

  • Responsible for working within the legal billing software (training provided)

  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.

  • Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned


  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent. Includes special certification required for specific jobs.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

JOB LOCATION INFORMATION: This position can be based out of the Everett, WA office, Denver, CO office or El Segundo, CA office.



  • Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years experience.


  • 4 years of office experience in healthcare industry at the corporate level.

  • 3 years of office experience at the corporate level.

  • 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience.


  • Computer literate.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to use Calendar Management Program.

  • Able to type 55 wpm.

  • Able to take minutes (fast notes or shorthand).

  • Filing skills.

  • Customer service oriented.
