Position:Clinic Director - Administration1. Duties:Clinic Director position to assume responsibility for the operation of sevenclinics within our Health Care System. This position directs and administersday-to-day activities of hospital's clinic operations in accordance withestablished hospital policies to provide measurable high quality health careservices. Under guidance of hospital's goals, objectives, and clinicaloperating budget, the Director must ensure economical and efficientperformance of all clinics. Position Responsibilities include:a. Builds strong positive communication with managers and physicians and worksas a team to enhance the success of each clinic.b. Develops strong inter-department teamwork to meet the needs of theoutpatient clinical patients and physicians and drive decision-making andother actions.c. Responsible for profit and loss performance of assigned business unitincluding productivity improvements; Participates in budget creation andexpense management.d. Identifies and implements opportunities to build employee morale andindividual motivation.e. Selects and hires employees according to established guidelines.Monitors, coaches, develop and evaluate performance of staff on an ongoingbasis in accordance with applicable performance standards, to include lowturn-over.f. Responsible for assuring customer/patient service needs are met. Monitorspatient service feedback and contributes to the process of resolvingcomplaints and service issues. Plans and initiates process improvement andcost reduction opportunities.g. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors,employees, other managers, and physicians.h. Serves as communication liaison with hospital management.i. Pro-actively identifies opportunities to expand revenue sources andancillary services and reduce expenses.j. Conducts daily or weekly on-site practice visits to meet with physiciansand staff2. Required:a. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus five(5) years of administrative or clinic management experience desired.b. Minimum of two (2) years management experience.c. Sound knowledge of nursing and medical scope of practice and lawspertainingto clinic operation.d. Demonstrates conflict resolution, demonstrates experience in processimprovement and efficient clinic practice.e. Knowledge of local economic conditions and ability to adjust cost ofoperation to meet community ability to pay for services.f. Ability to keep abreast of changes in healthcare field.3.
