Compensation (Pay): $95,900.00/Annually, based on experience.

Responsible for departmental performance on organizational assigned goals, metrics and KPIs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Policy development of ongoing performance management, to include quality assurance and process improvement activities.
Provides oversight to creation of written Patient Accounts guidelines, policies and standard operating procedures and ensure consistent company-wide implementation, as appropriate.
Policy development of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State and payer regulations, guidelines and requirements.
Monitors compliance to ensure that the activities of the charge and payment operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State and payer regulations, guidelines and requirements.
Providers oversight to the payer credentialing staff and works closely with stakeholders to maintain effective credentialing processes.
Provides oversight to the overall health of Peak Vista’s patient receivables.
Provides oversight to the overall health of Peak Vista’s third party receivables.
Participation in and support of audit functions throughout Peak Vista.
Provides oversight to the management of the day to day activities of Peak Vista billing and accounts receivables.
Provides oversight to the management of the day to day activities of Peak Vista patient accounts receivables.
Provides oversight to participation in the evaluation of new program and processes that relate to patient accounts billing functions and recommendations regarding program and process implementation and follow up.
Responsible for participation in the evaluation of new program and processes that relate to patient accounts charge and collection functions and recommendations regarding program and process implementation and follow up.
Provides oversight for system evaluation in regards to charge process and collections, making recommendations for system upgrades and updates and process improvement.
Provides oversight for system evaluation in regards to the billing, making recommendations for system upgrades and updates and process improvement.
Provides oversight for the completion of all billing and claims management patient accounts duties, by patient accounts staff, prior to every month end and reconciliation of all work quarterly and at the end of every fiscal year.
Provides oversight for the completion of all charge and payments patient accounts duties, by patient accounts staff, prior to every month end and reconciliation of all work quarterly and at the end of every fiscal year.
Provides oversight for the quality and integrity of account work inside the practice management system.
Understands and remains updated with current coding and charge regulations and compliance requirements.
Works collaboratively and strategically with the Revenue Cycle team to develop and operationalize processes and procedures, with continuous process improvement activities
Utilize various forms of technology to ensure the best possible training environment for Peak Vista’s employees with an eye toward resource preservation and responsible time management
Coordinate efforts for staff coverage when regular staff is undergoing training activities
Audit processes to identify areas of inefficiency and make recommendations as an active leader and participant in continuous process improvement
Develop and maintain interdepartmental relationships and drive Revenue Cycle initiatives by analyzing data and serving as a subject matter expert to other teams within Peak Vista
Process support optimal patient care
Develop and write reports and/or identify trends in existing reports, including errors in Revenue Cycle workflows, patient billing inefficiencies, accounts receivable metrics, and other areas
Use identified analytical and troubleshooting skills in an electronic documentation environment
Utilize Practice Management software, Electronic Health Record software, PC, and server-based applications to resolve user requests for assistance
Continually develop personal skills and knowledge of industry trends
Manage and support various corporate projects
Maintain advanced-level knowledge of Peak Vista’s practice management and clinical applications for project analysis and end user assistance
Employee demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to the Compliance Plan and conflict of interest requirements. The employee enhances the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the department by contributing to, and participating in, departmental performance improvement goals

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to multi-task and to manage several projects at one time and ability to work with a diverse patient population required. Customer service skills, Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Education: Associates Degree or higher in a technology or science related field, preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Three years of Revenue Cycle experience, required. Project management experience, and the data elements required for a successful project, preferred. 5 years experience in a leadership position, required. Knowledge and use of the NextGen system, preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Needs high language skills.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. High reasoning and critical thinking abilities, analytical skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Internet software and Database software. An individual should also be skilled in PC based systems, and have keyboarding skills.
