How will you make an impact?
As a key member of our team you will engage and assist an established engineering team to develop new compact x-ray sources in support of new and existing product. You will use job knowledge and solid judgement to make quality decisions in a timely manner as well as mentor engineers in all aspects of high voltage/high vacuum devices.
What will you do?
Be an integral part of an established engineering team in the design and manufacture of high vacuum devices.
Lead the design of new sources including x-ray tubes, high voltage supplies, drive electronics and packaging.
Utilize programs such as Lorentz, SolidWorks and others to improve current product and develop new designs and processes.
How will you get here?
- PhD (or equivalent experience) in physical sciences, engineering or related field
5+ years' experience in leading the design of x-ray sources and high voltage power supplies.
Proven track record of conceptualizing and implementing new designs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong background in materials science.
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task and complete assignments.
Excellent communication and team participation skills in an environment of multiple proficiencies and varying skills requirements.
Ability to communicate activities (both wins and losses) effectively at all organizational levels.
Ability to build relationships to foster trust, collaboration and a positive environment.
Acts as a technical leader and mentor to engineers and other personnel with varying skill sets and projects.
Ability to flex as needed when change occurs, maintains an open outlook while adjusting and accommodating change.
Can be counted on to deliver results with a sense of personal responsibility for expected outcomes.
