UCHealth Radiology Services Liaison FT in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Collaborates with radiologists, physicians, and multi-disciplinary team members to coordinate timely and appropriate invasive radiology procedures.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Promotes cost effective care through maximum utilization of resources for maximum efficiency and quality outcomes.
Schedules and coordinates exams with physician schedules; responsible for receiving images from outside facilities to expedite timely and efficient examinations.
Assures appropriate records and exams have been completed and reviewed by radiologists when applicable.
Performs provider/physician order entry and transcription. Leads multiple activities and personnel to ensure efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Credentials:Essential:* Registered Radiologic Technologist* Basic Life Support* Registered Sonographer* Nuclear Medical Tech. Cert
Other information:Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or must be a Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT). State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: 3 years of related experience.
IF APPLICABLE: BLSthrough the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPRcard must be good through sixty days of hire. All life supportcertification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association orthe American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Crossfor the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will needto be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

This position's pay range starts at: $21.060000/hour.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
