We are looking for Patient Service Coordinator to join our Patient Support Team to help us achieve our mission.

Patient Service Coordinators are a special ops group responsible for working behind the scenes to ensure every patient has all the necessary records and information in time for their appointment. It is a critical role to ensure the patient has a seamless experience and doesn’t have to worry about anything other than showing up for their visit.

Primary Responsibilities What you will actually have to do

  • Gather and confirm we have everything to ensure a patient’s appointment goes smoothly – this includes things like insurance authorization, MRI orders, prior records, and confirmation of out of pocket costs.

  • Work directly with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and insurance companies on behalf of the patient to collect everything they need.

  • Work together with our Patient Advocates – as well as directly with our clinic staff to ensure the patient arrives at their appointment ready to go and doesn’t have to worry about a thing!

  • You are detail oriented and can juggle a lot of tasks at once without skipping a beat

  • You have strong problem solving skills and work tirelessly to solve any issues that come up that may impact the patient’s experience

  • You have solid independent thinking and judgement – you know how to prioritize to ensure a patient that is in pain can be seen right away

Qualified Candidates The Must-Haves

  • Relevant Experience . 2+ years of healthcare experience working with insurance companies, doctors’ offices, and billing

  • You like working with others to accomplish a goal.

  • Detail Oriented and Technologically Savvy. You naturally “sweat the details” and catch small errors. You also can quickly pick up new software and technology, and of course you should know the basics like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
