We will help you achieve yourgoals through continuous professional development and regular careerprogression discussions.ResponsibilitiesAs an Enteral Technician, you will...Coordinate and schedule the dispensing of enteral product and supplies andassist the Dietitian in the management of enteral nutrition patients.Prepare labels and prescription dispensing worksheets and complete andmaintain product lot numbers and expiration dates.Generate delivery/pick slips under the supervision of the Dietitian. Pickand pull supplies and home medical equipment.Obtain supply inventories and compliance information from patients/clientsand communicate information obtained from patients/clients to the Dietitianas required.Participate in branch management, department and intra-departmental meetingsand quality improvement activities as requested.Adhere to all Accreditation, OSHA, FDA, state, local and federalregulations and standards relevant to infusion pharmacy and home medicalequipment.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college or technicaltraining (Pharmacy or Dietetic Technician) preferred1-3 years of related experience in a home care or hospital settingValid driver's licenseEffective mathematical and communication skills requiredAt least 1 year of experience in enteral nutrition service in a hospital orhome infusion settingGeneral knowledge of enteral feeding terminology, enteral nutrition productsand suppliesAbility to work independently, accurately and efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironmentAmerita is an is an EO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
