Clinical Operations Officer

Summary/Objective

Reporting to the Chief Medical Dental Officer, the Clinical Operations Officer is responsible for managing the development and implementation of clinical programs and pull-through projects. This role acts as a liaison between the clinical staff and the company. This position is responsible for the coordination of special projects for the company.

Essential Functions

  • Comprehensive project management, including planning, development, coordination, monitoring, reporting and evaluation (financial) of clinical program/initiatives. Management of clinical staff (up to 50+ individuals).

  • Acts as liaison between clinical and non-clinical teams in terms of planning, implementation, production, distribution, monitoring, evaluation and progress reporting of clinical programs/initiatives and related deliverable products.

  • Acts as liaison for ongoing communications, meetings, etc.

  • Works with clinical management team on program/intervention concepts, materials, instruments, etc., in relation to programs/initiatives.

  • Design, development, implementation, maintenance and management of all clinical programs.

  • Management of clinical services, including process review, clinical issue, clinical program and strategy development, consultants, development and other clinical related issues.

Travel

This position requires up to 75% travel.

Required Education and Experience

  • DDS

  • At least 15 years of clinical care and dental operations experience.

  • General and project management experience.

  • Preferred Education and Experience

  • Financial/Budget analysis experience.
