These examples do not include all of thefunctions which the employee may be expected to perform.Assesses and evaluates unit delivery of patient and family centered care,incorporating the respiratory process while providing developmentallyappropriate, culturally sensitive, evidence-based care within a definedclinic environment.In an Ambulatory setting, performs all Respiratory diagnostics to includebut not limited to Pulmonary Function Testing (spirometry, lung volumes,helium-dilution, DLCO), Bronchoprovocation-Exercise Induced andMethacholine Challenges), Impulse oscillometry, Bronchoscopy Assist,Respiratory Education/care coordination.Role models and coaches patient and family care needs through assessingchanges in patient outcomes/clinic needs in the provision of care, withinscope of practice.Identifies and works to removes barriers in order to promote communication andadvocacy of patient values, preferences and expressed needs as part ofimplementation of care plan, evaluation of care and assessment ofpatient/family learning needs to the interdisciplinary team.Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate individualizedcare and education for patients/families.Follows departmental or organizational practices and procedures that supporteffective teamwork.Participates in safety and quality of care projects and disseminates andincorporates into team setting.Minimizes risk of harm to patients and providers through both systemeffectiveness and individual performance.Integrates best current evidence with clinical knowledge and patient/familypreferences and values for delivery of optimal health care.Identifies need for and/or participates in the development or revision oforganizational or departmental policies, procedures or practice guidelinesin comparison with evidence based clinical practice.Communicates the standard of care practices from applicable pro
