The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Program at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for an Instructor faculty position to begin Fall 2020. This is a non-tenure track position. Depending on qualifications and prior experience, applicants may be considered for a full-time appointment at either the instructor or senior instructor level.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach a freshman computer aided design and fabrication course, key courses in the biomedical engineering curriculum (such as bioinstrumentation), and the senior design capstone course. The expectation is that the instructor will teach and develop curriculum for nominally five courses per year, primarily focusing on undergraduate courses. The instructor will also be responsible for advising student groups (e.g., student chapter of BMES), student career advising, and outreach to professional and alumni constituents.

What We Require
Applicants must hold either a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or a closely related discipline or an M.S. degree in biomedical engineering with five or more years of professional experience. Additional professional or teaching experience is required for appointment at the senior instructor level.
