UCHealth Supervisor Pharmacy Services Cancer Center Days in Aurora, Colorado

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy is required

Primary work environment – Cancer Center Pharmacy, Anschutz Medical Campus.

The Supervisor of Pharmacy Services, based at our UCHealth Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, CO, will have both staffing and staff supervisory responsibilities.

Ultimately, we are looking for a team oriented, detailed, and experienced pharmacist, preferably with a background in pharmacy operations, oncology, infusion, EPIC (including EPIC Beacon), and leadership. As this is a position at UCHealth Metro Denver Region, we will be looking for an individual whom is adaptable to change, able to work in a fast paced, patient centric pharmacy, as well as an individual who can assist in providing and improving pharmacy services

Supervises daily staff activities for the clinical or ambulatory pharmacy.

Job Duties:

  • Day to day operations of the Cancer Center Pharmacy

  • Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels for the Cancer Center Pharmacy.

  • Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.

  • Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

  • Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.

  • Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.

  • State licensure as a Pharmacist.

  • 2 years of post-graduate experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Pharm D

  • Epic (including Epic Beacon) experience

  • Leadership experience

  • Operations pharmacy experience including in-depth knowledge of sterile compounding
