Nature of Work
The individual selected for this full-time Senior Professional Research Assistant (Sr PRA) position will help develop and perform experiments, as determined by clients or collaborators, in the PHISM facility. The PHISM facility generates human immune system mice by injection of human hematopoietic stem cells isolated from cord blood units. The individual will also assist in training students and technicians and developing animal protocols. This position will be located in the PHISM laboratory, co-directed by Julie Lang and Roberta Pelanda, in the Department of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. The successful candidate for this senior research position will have research experience in immunology, be detail-oriented, very organized, motivated, self-reliant, and able to work under supervision and in a team environment.
