The position will ensure regulatorycompliance, pricing commensurate with reimbursement structures, andcomplete and timely charge capture by managing and overseeing the Hospitalpricing and charge development, processes, and policies. The focus of thisposition is on the Revenue Cycle as a whole, incorporating the impact ofregistration, Federal Regulation, and payment from both governmental andprivate payers. In addition, this position evaluates and develops tools andreports to be used by management and department heads to monitor revenues,expenses and statistics, and to ensure accountability of the responsibleindividuals. Responsible for regular and consistent education and assistanceto individual departments with their charge capture processes and policies.The position is highly visible, working closely with revenue-generatingdepartment directors and managers to evaluate pricing strategies.
