The Manager oversees a team of Spanish medicalinterpreters and American Sign Language Interpreters. The Manager is alsoresponsible for coordinating with agency interpreters for non-Spanish languageneeds, overseeing translation of written materials, and partnering closelywith team members and patients/families across the CHCO system to provideaccess to high-quality language and interpretation services.Manages the Medical Interpreter Department which delivers services to LimitedEnglish Proficient patients and families, plus providing resources to thosewho are Deaf or Hearing Impaired. Department includes hiring, supervisingand managing in house Interpreters and translators. Additionally,maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff,volunteers, physicians and outside agencies including all Network of Caresites.
