Nocturnist Position/Academic Hospitalist
The Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Colorado is excited to recruit for Academic Hospitalist Nocturnist positions .
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level to join our Nocturnist team. Our nocturnist position offers exciting clinical opportunities at our Anschutz campus at the University of Colorado Hospital which is a busy 673-bed hospital that has been recently named to the 2017-2018 US News and World Report Honor Roll. Our night positions have an emphasis on teaching and excellent patient care and we work closely with the University of Colorado Internal Medicine residency program and our Advanced Practice Fellowship Program (for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistants) providing teaching and oversight to the housestaff and APP fellows.
Our hospitalists are full-time faculty and are offered the opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. Administrative responsibilities allow for development as a leader within the hospitalist program, University of Colorado Hospital, the School of Medicine, the Department of Medicine and the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. Scholarly activities are encouraged and opportunities to publish and be involved in quality improvement and research are plentiful.
Position comes with relocation support as well as excellent benefits and compensation package.
Board certified physician preferably with nocturnist experience.
