The Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and Vice President, Human Resources (VP, HR) must lead the vision of “From Healthcare to Health” by forging strong relationships with the academic enterprise to create an overall entity unparalleled in the United States today.

The CDO and VP, HR is a strategic leader, thought partner, and implementer for the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity at UCHealth and Human Resources in the Metro Denver region.

The CDO, UCHealth leads the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and works closely with leaders throughout UCHealth and in the community to shape the organization’s culture to be one that values diversity and inclusion and lives out its values in the delivery of care. The core responsibility of this position is to advance UCHealth’s mission, vision, and goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion by developing and implementing existing programs, policies and initiatives.

The VP HR provides strategic HR advice to the executive team in Metro Denver which includes University of University Hospital (UCH), Highlands Ranch Hospital (HRH), Longs Peak Hospital (LPH), and Broomfield Hospital (BH). This individual partners with Metro leadership to create the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce while meeting the directives established by the health system’s mission, vision and values.


  • Minimum Required Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, OrganizationalDevelopment, Business or related field.

  • 10 years of experience in Human Resource management

  • Experience leading diversity initiatives at executive level
