The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has a faculty position available for a Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at the rank of Instructor. The cardiothoracic surgery service at University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) is a high volume, high acuity service, providing tertiary level care across the entire spectrum of cardiothoracic surgery. Under the direction of the full-time faculty, this position provides critical care services to cardiothoracic patients housed in the CT ICU.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $102,170 - $130,731.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Proper education and licensing/certification for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Must be eligible for certification with prescriptive authority

Prior APP experience in cardiothoracic surgery is required
Prior APP experience in a CT ICU setting is preferred
